Full course description
Whether it happens live in a classroom or as a recording in Canvas, a lecture is the place where most students meet most of the content in most courses. It is also the part of teaching we are least likely to have been taught. The habits that get us through a conference talk (dense slides, a full script, forty minutes) work against students, who have limited working memory, a phone within reach, and no obligation to keep watching.
This sprint turns that around. Instead of asking what a good presentation looks like from the podium, it asks what one feels like from the seat, and gives you six questions students are always asking, whether or not they say them out loud. Design for those six and the presentation takes care of itself.
